Welcome to 1776 Arms Co. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before making a purchase. By completing a transaction with us, you acknowledge and agree to the following policies:
Sales Tax

California sales tax will be added and collected on the purchase price of all firearms.
Fees

California Dealer Record of Sale (DROS) fee: $37.19

Firearm Safety Certificate (FSC) fee: $25, includes up to two test attempts.
Customer Responsibility

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that the firearm they purchase is legal for them to own and purchase under all applicable laws.

If a firearm must be shipped back to the seller for any reason — including but not limited to Department of Justice (DOJ) denial or incorrect weapon sent — the customer will be charged a $75 handling fee plus shipping costs.
Returns and Refunds

Firearms are non-returnable.

Transfer fees, DROS fees, FSC fees, and shipping fees are non-refundable.
Storage Policy

Firearms held for more than 30 days will incur a storage fee of $25 per month, payable at the time of registration.

Firearms unregistered or unclaimed for over 180 days become the property of 1776 Arms Co.

There will be a 25% restocking fee applied to any unregistered firearm.
Transfer Fees
Firearm transfer fee is $75 plus the applicable DROS fee.
Additional Terms
All used firearms are sold “as is” with no warranty, express or implied.
Full payment, including all fees, is due within 30 days of the DROS submittal and prior to pickup of the firearm.
By California state law, all firearm sales require a minimum 10-day waiting period (240 hours) from the date and time of DROS submittal.
The DROS submittal is valid for 30 days; firearms not picked up within this timeframe require a new DROS submittal and payment of all associated fees again.
All firearms sold must include a California-certified lock. If the firearm does not come with one, a lock will be provided at an additional cost.
Payments for firearms and services must be made by cash or credit card only. We do not accept checks.
In cases where the purchaser’s background check or DROS is delayed or undetermined, 1776 Arms Co. reserves the right to withhold delivery of the firearm until all checks and approvals are complete.
